Review written by: Brandon (Ceielo)

This is Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. You are Agent 47, a clone of a person but became a Hitman on Hitman: Codename 47. Silent Assassin was one of the most rewarding videogame experiences I have ever played in my whole life. There is so much to do in this game while playing through the missions.

Story
You are BRO3886, Codename 47, a former Hitman for Agency. You left Agency to find yourself and are now living in Sicily. 47 helps Padre Vittorio take care of the church and the garden while living in the church's garden shed. You are repenting for your sins in The Gontranno Sanctuary when your friend Padre Vittorio gets violently kidnapped by Guilliani and find a ransom note for 500,000 dollars. In order to get your friend back, you seek help from Agency but in order to get help, you need to do some contract jobs for Agency.

Gameplay
Whether you like First Person or Third Person perspective, you will be happy in this game because with the R3 button you can toggle between First and Third Person View. The rest of the button commands to control 47 on the PS2 are just perfect, leaving you with total control over Agent 47. If you wanna run, Hold R2 and drop it to start walking again, or you can just toggle running by tapping R2 and tapping again to start walking. You can figure out the rest if you play it. Its so easy that it will become second nature.

Graphics
Though not the best, the graphics of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is really good. Not too flashy. Gritty and dark in some places and bright and shiny in some others, this game really lets you feel like you're in a completely different place. Kinda like youre gonna feel the cold of the Russian winters or feel some sand stuck in your shoes while in the middle east. Graphics arent perfect but is really good no matter which console or PC you play it on.

Sound
The music in this game are really well done. From the Theme to the footsteps, everything is well defined and put out like its almost live. Even the gunshots sound real in Hitman 2. Go through the ground and you will hear rustling, go through brick and you will hear your shoes knocking, go through metal and you will hear clanking. Even the birds' sounds are well done. All the doors kinda sound alike but that isnt a problem. Its soundtrack is really good to the ears while you are going through missions. The theme playing while you're riding high gives you a sense of Contract Killer Pride.

Faults
The only thing that is wrong with this game is when youre dragging someone you knocked out or killed. They start spreading their legs so hard that its actually kinda funny. Through all three years I have played that game, that is the only fault I found with that game.

Lasting Appeal
This game gives you so many different ways to finish missions and have all these guns and knives to collect within the missions that you will come back to play this game long after you finish the game. Getting the Silent Assassin Rating will keep you thinking and always on your feet because its so challenging going around the places without anyone noticing that you are around.

Conclusion
If you are a perfectionist or a collector at heart, you know you will be going through the missions a lot just to get that last rifle or shotgun or trying to get the best rating to get the extra guns. No matter what youre into, this should be a game you should buy because it will give you one of the best videogame experience ever. Rating
I give this game a Perfect 10/10. Just such a rewarding gaming experience with its difficulty and all of the extras we can get with the game. I say buy it unless you dont have the money for it. Its been out for quite a while so it shouldnt be too expensive.
