This is an awesomely Sweet mixture of Stealth and Shooting. You play as Solid Snake and take a stealthy journey through an Alaskan base filled with Geonome soliders. Your trying to stop the terrorist group FOXFOUND from setting off a nuclear bomb. Sneak, Kill, and hide to finish this mission.

First I'll mention the Visuals. These cutting-edge graphics really make the game that much better than the original. The character models are excellent. They actually have eyes on this version. The environments are detailed too. The cut scenes show the real detail of the characters. Notice thier facial movements and expressions. Last but not least...the blood! Beautiful blood. I love seeing blood splatter against the walls when i shoot people...hm....

Now the Audio. The music is really well done. It was done by the expierenced music director that worked with Armegeddon and Independance Day. The Voice overs are excellent. The gun shots sound really realistic. And the detail shows in the audio when you hear the foot steps on steel floors and the tapping on the walls. This game really does sound great.

Last but not least, the gameplay. This game is inhanced in a lot of ways. But the gameplay is one of the most noticed. Updates like hanging from ledges and sumersaults. Also shoot in first-person mode. This game has a really exstensive story line. There are lots of weapons and gadgets. The chacters and bosses are really interesting as well. And there is also two different endings...but i'll let you discover those.

GOOD + Graphics, character models, Deep story-line

BAD - Hour long cut-scenes, loose 1ST Person aiming, would have like to see some new weapons (or at least a shotgun)

Overall, i give this game a 9.5...out of 10.
